Game Developer
Virtual Fairground is currently developing multiple games. To extend our already excellent team we are looking for an all-round Game Developer.
As a game developer you have a proven track record and can show a broad scale of games which you have made. The material should in some way reflect your sense of software architecture and would provide a means to show them some of your design decisions.
To apply you need the following skills: - Experience in developing games
- Proof of contributing to one or more published games
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years experience as a Programmer
- Excellent c/c++,Java programming skills with at least 3 years of experience
- Experience in all technical disciplines involved in game development
- Able to fit well within an informal environment and to provide hands-on knowledge
- Must possess high level of enthusiasm and be a strong team player
- Capable of criticizing work in a positive way
- Good written- and verbal communication- and presentation skills

We are currently looking for students for our game and website support. Club Galactik will go live in the beginning of February. We will launch the game in 7 different countries simultaneously, therefore we need language support from those 7 countries. We are looking for native speakers and writers who can work at our support centre based in Amsterdam. You will answer all the questions that our customers have about the game and the website by email which we expect to take a few hours per week. Your profile:
- Familiar with games and websites
- Good Communication skills in writing
- A native speaker of one or more of the following languages: French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Polish
- Living in Amsterdam or nearby Amsterdam
- Flexible concerning working hours per week
